Job Description
Managing & Monitoring coordinators as a team within organizational structures, processes and procedures.
Reach , Monitor and report on Company Business Targets for Cape Town.
Participate in the strategic planning and competitive positioning of the business supplier relations and negotiations.
Liaise with all departments of the company; in-houses, finance, sales and marketing (key account management) along with the other regional offices.
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Tasks Delegation to team members including new enquiries and set deadlines for completion and feedback.
Monitor team performance and report on daily enquiries.
Evaluate staff training needs and work with the HR department on training initiatives.
Motivate team members , through workshops, educationals and site inspections
Suggest and organize team building activities.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Matric
Formal qualification advantageous
5 to 8 years relevant experience in management of a large Travel Management / event management Company
Proven track record in operations management
Skills
Financial skills with the ability to compile budgets and financial reports
Excellent communication and report writing skills System experience ( Quicktrav/Paper Trail advantageous)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencer and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of Conference & Events operations and administrative workflow structures and processes.
Portray passion about the business’ mission, values and purpose.
