If you were left disappointed after learning that Cassper Nyovest’s boxing match with Youtuber Slik Talk has been canceled, there’s good news – it’s now back on. Cassper released a poster of the fight on his Twitter page on Monday, 13 December 2021. Finally, these two will settle their feud in the ring. Best of all is it’ll be right before Christmas, which means those interested have something else to look forward to this festive season.
Here’s how this all started: Cassper challenged Slik Talk to the boxing fight after he trashed him (as he usually does most celebrities on his Youtube channel). Unlike many of his industry peers who usually ignore the attacks, the rapper refused to take the matter lying down. The Doc Shebeleza has been known to ask challenge people to boxing matches, including fellow rapper AKA and musician Prince Kaybee, but none of the matches ever came to fruition.
With Cassper Nyovest and Slik Talk having finally agreed on the terms and conditions for their boxing match, it’s all systems go for the fight on Wednesday, 22 December 2021. The fight will be taken live on Youtube at exactly 21:00 – so set those reminders and maybe have a bowl of popcorn ready.

Initially, Cassper had offerred him a whopping R100 000 if he managed to survive three rounds during their fight.
“I would love to see Slik Talk in person doe, preferably in the ring. Tell him, I Got 100k for him Cash, win or lose. All he has to do is survive 3 rounds, 3 mins with me. He got balls to talk on camera let’s see if he will man up and come get this money. Offer stands till Jan,” the rapper said at the time. For a moment, it seemed the match would go ahead, but Slik Talk then backed out, but then Cassper added an extra R100 000 on the table.
“I can put my money where my mouth is … if Slik Talk knocks me out, I’ll give him an extra 100 thousand. Dec 22nd, we about to give yall a show. This one is for all the people Slik Talk has ever disrespected. For everyone who been cyber bullied!!” he wrote on Twitter.
