My Client is seeking to employ a Case Manager to work in the General Ward at their private hospital based in Durban.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and clinical risks of the patient in the general ward by ensuring accurate coding, clinical updates and accounts submissions of patient hospitalization to achieve strategic objectives.
Critical Outputs:
Ensuring the maximisation of revenue
Ensuring effective management of quality outputs
Ensuring operational excellence
Ensuring effective management of relationships with intern/external stakeholder
Required Skills
Hospital Case Management experience : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements needed to apply for this opportunity:
Nursing qualification and registered with SANC as a professional Nurse
3 to 5 years relevant experience
Knowledge of hospital patient services and case management processes essential
Knowledge of Funder contracts, scheme rules, exclusions and benefits
Knowledge and understanding of CPT & ICD coding
Understanding of private hospital industry and practices
Computer proficiency
Market related salary, excellent benefits
