Former Free State police, roads, and transport MEC Butana Komphela, has passed away.
65-year-old Khompela had been admitted to a Bloemfontein hospital over a month ago for COVID-19 related treatment.
However, his cause of death is still unknown.
Komphela was formerly health MEC in the Free State and also served as National Assembly sports committee chair.
