Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Maintenance department, based at the James Sedgewick Distillery in Wellington. The successful incumbent will report to the Engineering Specialist.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to :

Operate and control coal boilers on a shift basis
Ash removal and ensure continuous coal supply
Perform and reporting on required analyses of boiler processes
Maintaining of E2 area and update of the information
Responsible for housekeeping in work area
Assist in general maintenance and risk control
The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills, and experience:

Grade 12
A John Thomson certificate would be an advantage
Discipline and motivation to work on your own for long periods without supervision
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Computer literacy would be advantageous
Willingness to work abnormal hours on a shift basis (evenings and weekends included)
Have a reliable mode of transport to the workplace
Excellent health
Relevant experience would be advantageous
