Former Mamelodi Sundowns star George Lebese has married bae, Melba Nkosi, in a beautiful traditional wedding that took place in Pretoria yesterday. The wedding was attended by fellow soccer mates Itumeleng Khune with wife Sphelele Makhunga and George Maluleka with his wife Larelle, to name a few.
It turns out George Lebese is having a great end to his year as just after confirming his move to US soccer team Colorado Springs Switchback FC, he tied the knot with his girlfriend of more than a year on Saturday 28 December in two colourful traditional wedding ceremonies, in Pretoria.
Lebese and Nkosi hosted both a Sotho and Swati wedding ceremony
Lebese and Nkosi have mainly kept their relationship private, only sharing a few snaps on their Instagram accounts. They have, however, let the public in on their honeymoon destination which is in Dubai.
The first wedding ceremony saw Lebese and Nkosi decked out in black-and-red Swati outfits while the second saw them don white-and-purple Sotho matching attire which represents Lebese’s tribe and is a symbol of welcome to the new bride.
