AKA’s dad Tony Forbes gets ready for boxing

AKA’s father, Tony Forbes, showed off his big fists as he started boxing training with NaaqMusiq.  Since his son’s death, Tony Forbes had made all sorts of headlines in the past few months.

His family drew a lot of attention, and it seemed the old man was doing something to continue with the legacy. Most of AKA’s fans still consider Tony, their father and are tipping him to train and challenge Cassper Nyovest.

Sharing on his Instagram, Tony thanked NaakMusiq for agreeing to train him.  Posing with NaakMusiq triggered many memories of celebrity boxing fans. Cassper Nyovest and NaakMusiq faced each other, and it was a tough contest.

After Cassper and NaakMusiq’s fight, it seemed that AKA was the next to fight Cassper. Surprisingly, AKA refused to face Cassper, but his dad seemed unafraid of anyone. When he got into the boxing ring, he looked solid and bullish about his chances. If Tony goes on and fights with Cassper, then it would be a historical match that fans would enjoy

In other news – Lira sings at a show for the first time after suffering a stroke

Lira, real name Lerato Molapo sang at the RMB Starlight Classics, which took place in Johannesburg. The singer suffered a stroke over a year ago and it affected her ability to talk and sing.

Years ago, she toured various media platforms, to talk about her healing journey. Lira says she can’t speak smoothly, but she’s trying and she’s yet to resume her singing career. Read more
