2 protesters reportedly shot in #ZimShutDown protests. Things starting to intensify in Harare as Military helicopters are being seen flying in the air.

“I’ve just seen two military helicopters flying very low over Highfield & Glen Norah in Harare. Tensions are rising, on the first day of a 3-day nationwide shutdown organised by labour unions & pro-democracy groups, amid reports of sporadic violence.”, tweets journalist Brezh Malaba.

CBD Shop closed

Makoni flea market is now closed and protestors are burning refuse in the streets to halt movement of vehicles. Makoni rank in Chitungwiza has been closed. The many fires spread across the City being put out by the Police. Meanwhile, police are throwing teargas in houses in Bulawayo.

Mabvuku Protesters

Protests against higher fuel prices are intensifying in Epworth. Two people have been reportedly shot following a standoff between police and residents. Things are going from bad to worse.

Kuwadzana Protesters

There is a thug in civilian clothes roaming around with an AK47 (reportedly Bulawayo Road near Kuwadzana).
