AmaZulu King Misuzulu KaZwelithini is one step closer to having a first wife – officially.
The umembeso of the king and the future queen Ntokozo Mayisela took place in Newcastle on Saturday.
This traditional ceremony is where the groom’s family showers the bride’s family with gifts.
It was attended by some of the late king’s wives, members of the royal family and the community of Newcastle.
