Reasons why Zodwa Wabantu’s reality show still hasn’t aired

Zodwa Wabantu’s reality show has been hit with several delays that has pushed the project back several weeks.

The show was supposed to start on Moja Love on April 2 but the date has come and gone with no premiere.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Zodwa acknowledged the delay and said that her busy schedule had delayed production.

“I am used to running my brand and managing everything, which meant that I got busy and haven’t been available as much as I would have liked. We are currently still filming and I am filming this week again, but it has been a challenge to get schedules together. So, the channel told me to relax and they will release it when it is ready.”

The dancer said she had hoped the show would be allowed to go on air while still filming, but was advised against it.

“I thought that we could show the first few episodes while still filming but the producers prefer recording more ahead of the time. It is fine because they are in charge and know best.”

She said the wait would be well worth it and fans could look forward to some big names on the show.

“I can’t say the names but they are very well-known people that viewers will be excited to see. We will be talking about all kinds of things, including maybe boyfriends that we have both had at some point.”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE about the show in February, Zodwa hinted at major moments in her show, including her undergoing cosmetic surgery and “a white dress”.

“I am Zodwa of the people and I cannot hide. I haven’t hid before and I won’t hide now. People will see everything because I am telling the story of my life and it is something they can relate to.”
