New details emerge: Women 0rgasm in their sleep – here is how

I have often said that women and men are very much alike. From their genetic make-up to their s.e.xuality, men and women are more alike than we think.

When it comes to s.e.xuality, the similarities are more apparent.

For instance, we all know that men have wet dreams, also known as nocturnal emission, but according to s.e.xologists women also have something very similar to wet dreams called sleep 0rgasms.

Sleep 0rgasms are the 0rgasms where one wakes up cl!maxing.

The phenomenon is common in women and men during puberty, adolescence, and later in life when they’re not s.e.xually active.

According to experts, sleep 0rgasms are actual physical 0rgasms and are mostly remembered by their erotic dreams right after waking up.

While men will have physical evidence of an 0rgasm (wet dreams), women only have the memory and the jittery feeling.

According to the Time-India publication, our bodies are in a paralyzed state during the rapid eye movement sleep state, when sleep 0rgasms are most likely to occur. During REM, your brain is technically still on and thus you can feel an 0rgasm.

All the major brain systems become activated during 0rgasm, like a storm in the brain.

A 1986 study published in the Journal of S.e.x Research found that 37% women have experienced at least one sleep 0rgasm.

There are women who can’t 0rgasm in real life but can in their sleep.

It’s because for women the act of 0rgasm involves both mental and physical stimulation. If a woman feels uncomfortable for any reason, it can be difficult for her to 0rgasm.

Since during sleep, there is no discomfort, she can have pure, unadulterated fun.
