If we have established anything is that one way to get DJ Zinhle to actually come out on social media and create a raucous is to try and say something about her daughter or her parenting skills.
The first time that that had happened was when the father, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, of her daughter, Kairo Forbes, used her daughter to clap back at a fan. AKA had gotten embroiled in one of his many social media feuds with a tweep, and as a clap back suggested that Kairo was already richer than he tweep. At the mention his daughter, tweeps thought it she was fair game and worked at dragging the toddler until DJ Zinhle stepped in and let it be known that she will not tolerate having her daughter dragged on social media.
Clearly, it was not everyone that got that message, because there was again another social media user that attempted to tell DJ Zinhle how to be a better parent. The social media user which we have come to call Gabriel because DJ Zinhle seems to know the tweeps real name, despite it not being on their profile. Gabriel shared Kairo Forbes’ Heritage Day outfit, which she wore while dancing a traditionally isiZulu dance.
In the caption, Gabriel than suggested that DJ Zinhle should try and dress her up in Khoisan traditional attire next year for Heritage Day. Gabriel suggestion was at the back of him asserting that Kairo has Khoisan roots from her father’s side; therefore it would be incorrigible for DJ Zinhle to embrace that. Gabriel went as far as adding that, “Did you know her name Kairo is from the Khoi Khoi language?”
In response to the post DJ Zinhle did not take lightly on being told how to parent her child. She made it clear that she will not take advise on how to parent her own child. She also suggested that if tweeps like Gabriel know so much about parenting, that they should probably have children of their own to raise to their heart’s content. She described the audacity displayed by Gabriel as having gone “too far.”
Thank you, she’s looked so cute.
Did you know you could have your own child & dress them however you want..
Gabriel, you have gone too far. Animeni ngokuzositshela ukuthi senzeni ngabantwana bethu. Ay man, too far! https://t.co/4qIdrh9838

Gabriel was untouched by the push back he received for his comment. He was emphatic that his post was being “unapologetic” about his traditions and linage, despite many suggesting that pride is one thing and imposition is another. But DJ Zinhle has already made her stance clear.

Babes Wodumo is suggesting that the tumultuous times when scandal just followed her everywhere she went are probably a thing of the past, if her recent social media post is anything to go by.
Babes Wodumo shook the music industry when she gave us “Wololo,” featuring no else but Mampintsha. The star’s rise to fame was instantaneous and she was immediately a household name. Because of what she represented in the music industry at the time, Babes Wodumo received the title of this generation’s Brenda Fassie and Lebo Mathosa. Learn More
