Warehouse Controller wanted: Salary R5 000 to R8 000 per month

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Controller to join our team. The candidate must come from a distribution background.

Requirements:

Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
2 years customer and inventory experience
Fluent in English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written
Knowledge of office software (Outlook and Excel)
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Able to respect tight deadlines
Multi-task orientated
Able to work under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful warehouse controller will be responsible for :

Receiving and dispatching of stock
Manage to unload of trucks/ containers
Verify stock received against the purchase order
Validate stock received against master samples and advise Warehouse and Procurement Manager of any discrepancies.
Assist in monthly and ad hoc stock taking to ensure stock is accounted for at all times
Assist Warehouse Manager with email, telephonic and walk-in customer orders
Prepare orders for the correct collection date
