Our company has a team of engineers working in automotive assembly plants and engineering centres throughout Europe and are now looking for a bright engineer to expand our team in Pretoria, South Africa. We are responsible for configuring and testing the software in vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and ensuring they conform to the necessary standards.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for intelligent and enthusiastic engineers with the following experience:
Degree in a relevant subject, including; electrical, automotive engineering or software development.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent computer literacy, with experience and knowledge of personal computers, electronic computer peripherals and preferably Information Technology networks
Experience and knowledge of software development and Microsoft Office
Experience working within the automotive sector
Experience and knowledge of vehicle electronic and electrical systems
Any experience of vehicle diagnostics, Controller Area Network (CAN) would be an advantage
Ability to travel to European locations for initial training

Salary: R300,000.00 to R500,000.00 /year
