At 16H15 Friday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 near the Umdloti offramp.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle, an adult female lost control resulting in a rollover.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the patient had sustained moderate injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize her.
Once treated the patient was transported by Netcare 911 ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on the scene.
