TxC Fly Off To Doha And Take Amapiano To The FIFA World Cup

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ having kicked off on Sunday, South African artists, TxC, jet off to Qatar this week for two career-defining performances on the world’s biggest stage, to take place during World Cup™ Festivities in Doha and Dubai.

As an official partner of the FIFA World Cup™, Budweiser is providing the opportunity for TxC to shine on a global stage, bringing the ‘Amapiano Experience’ to the BUD World Club, in Doha, as part of a star-studded line-up that includes American rapper Lil Baby, Côte d’Ivoire’s Suspect 95 and Zambian Hip-Hop artist, Slapdee, on December 3rd.

Following that performance, the Amapiano duo will then headline with a sunset performance at the BUDX FIFA Fan Fest, at picturesque Dubai Harbour, on December 4th.

“We’ve worked so hard for this moment, and we hope that our fans are similarly inspired to take their own journey towards seizing greatness and pursuing their dreams. It’s all possible! This is such an exciting time for us and we’re going to make South Africa proud,” said Tarryn and Clairise, aka TxC.

Following their debut in 2021, TxC swiftly cemented a reputation for dropping the coolest Amapiano sets, combining an awesome playlist with highly charged dance moves that have impacted dance culture around the world. Recent epic performances include Manchester’s largest Afrofusion Coko Festival alongside Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Fireboy. Meanwhile their trail-blazing “Fierce Piano World Tour” has also garnered critical praise for outstanding club performances in the UK, Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Belgium.
