Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa has died. The Sanusi and traditional healer was 98-years-old. Mutwa is renowned for his prophecies.
Amongst his most critically acclaimed work is Indaba: My Children. It’s a collection of African folk tales and sold over 250,000 copies in the country.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa has climbed to 709. The number is a rise of 155 cases from Tuesday’s tally of 554.
