Jaws of Life used to free driver following three vehicle crash

At 04H09 Monday morning, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 near Bowling Avenue in Sunninghill Sandton.

Reports from the scene indicate that two cars and a bakkie were involved in a collision.

Three vehicle crash

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the bakkie sustained moderate injuries and required hydraulic tools to free him from the wreckage.

Once stabilised the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

The occupants from the other vehicles were assessed on scene however declined ambulance transportation to hospital.
