Soccer player Bongani Zungu is the man who has actress Cindy Mahlangu whipped and their romance has many wanting to know more about him.
So, who is exactly is the man that has captured the Blood and Water’s actress heart. Bongani was born in Duduza, which is the East Rand in Gauteng.
Bongani may be a ladies man but he is very close to his Mom and makes sure to spend time with her when he is in Mzansi and they speak often over the phone when he is abroad. Bongani also has an older brother. In 2013, he lost his Dad who had the biggest positive influence in his life and was a huge supporter of his career and would call him after each match to tell him how he did.
In 2014, whilst still playing for Mamelodi Sundowns, he was hijacked right in front of his parents home whilst taking his younger brother home. The incident resulted in him being more careful when he’s driving.
The 27-year-old soccer player plays for the national team Bafana Bafana and also in the top French league for Amiens SC but has been in Mzansi since the coronavirus pandemic. He has since been released from the French club and is in talks to join Scottish giants Rangers.
He will be entering his sixth season in Europe since he left Mamelodi Sundowns.
The star midfielder credits Ivory Coast legend Yaya Toure as his biggest influence on becoming a great soccer player.
