The Estate takes a break off screen

The Estate has announced that it will take a break from the screen on Friday, 15 April 2022. The popular telenovela is currently airing its second season and will be offscreen for some time.

Recall, in January, it was reported that the cast were not been salaries for some months but after some days, Phil Mphela later reported that the cast and crew had received their payments.

The star-studded drama series featuring Katlego Danke, Vusi Kunene, Robert Whitehead & Khanyi Mbau aired on SABC1 previously and will now occupy the weekdays 7 pm slot from Monday 18th of April kicking off with season 1 followed by Family Secrets season 2 on the 5th of May.

According to a statement released by the channel, The Estate will return on the 1st of July 2022, with season 3. Viewers can expect more drama, suspense, and hard-hitting storylines as we commit to keeping them entertained.
