A Mpumalanga man will appear in court for allegedly stealing railway tracks worth R1.4-million.
The man works for a scrap metal company and is the third suspect arrested in connection with the theft.
He faces charges ranging from theft, damage of essential infrastructure, and possession of stolen property.
Police say the Middleburg Serious Organised Crime team, along with Afri Guard at Transnet and Durban harbour police, bust a group of suspects in Kromdraai.
They have seen loading stripped railway tracks onto a truck.
