MAIN JOB PURPOSE
To manage the supply chain support services, ensuring that the customer SLA’s are adhered to through optimised processes and principles in: Inventory Optimisation, Vendor management and Outsourcing, Distribution, Procurement and Financial Administration.
KPA
MANAGE THE END-TO-END SUPPLY CHAIN PROCESSES OF FORECASTING, PURCHASING, RECONCILIATION AND OPTIMISATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF STOCK / INVENTORY
Monitor stock/inventory utilisation, ensure that all are accounted for, and identify trends in usage, availability, status and value.
Conduct timeous planning and forecasting to ensure that the required stock, equipment and logistical infrastructure is available when required;
Determine most appropriate purchasing strategy to secure stock/inventory;
Procure, manage and control stock/inventory to deliver on customer requirements;
Manage and / or execute procurement related functions (e.g., develop and implement contract management and procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, draft and manage contracts, etc.);
Develop management controls to ensure that client deliverables, services and interactions are aligned with operational processes, plans, goals and objectives;
Ensure that agreed upon Customer SLAs are adhered to through optimised supply chain processes and principles – Target Customer SLA 96%;
Ensure that agreed upon Supply Chain SLAs are adhered to through optimised supply chain processes and principles – target 96% on work orders;
Achieve all Supply Chain backlog targets;
Identify and manage risk within the supply chain; and
Ensure that the monthly replenishment order is submitted to the Senior Operations Manager within predetermined time frame.

MANAGE INVENTORY OBSOLESCENCE / EXCESS AND THE END-TO-END FINANCIAL STOCK / INVENTORY PROCESS
Ensure that bi-monthly, quarterly cycle count and twice annual stock take is planned in advance and performed to manage inventory risk on all Supply Chain Services warehouses;
Ensure that stock losses do not exceed 0.01% of total stock;
Ensure that all cut-offs are done according to procedures

MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDORS AND SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE DELIVERY AGAINST AGREEMENT AND MARGIN
Maintain and develop positive business relationships with vendors and suppliers;
Identify and select new vendor’s / service provider’s / service partners to enhance and differentiate the Bytes MS service offering;
Plan the best way to get goods from suppliers to warehouse and then on to customers; and
Proactively ensure suppliers have enough stock to meet the demand.

Budget by considering cost estimates related to staff, materials, equipment, infrastructure and inventory;
Review stock trends and analytics to determine areas to optimise expenditure
Manage expenses and keep within budget constraints;
Conduct Management Reviews and Audits monthly
Meet the Contribution budget monthly
Reduce overall Cost of Sale Cost Drivers (ensure that they are within budget or at agreed levels)
Manage expenses, ensuring that they remain within budget
Manage the distribution expenses to be within budget

Ensure that processes are reviewed monthly with Senior Operations Manager
Identify potential projects to deliver changes and improvements to the supply chain and commission select projects
Ensure that projects are successfully executed according to project plan

Job Requirements:
Qualifications Experience
Supply Chain Management diploma/certificate
Financial Management diploma/certificate
Minimum of 7 years proven experience at a Senior Managerial level, in the ICT Services Industry
At least 5 years’ experience related to the key result areas
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ financial experience
Knowledge
An understanding of business and financial principles
