At 10H27 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Protea Boulevard in Protea Glen, Soweto.
Reports from the scene indicate that three light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.
Eight people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Once treated the patients were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment.
