COVID-19: South Africa’s death toll now at 4,804

The COVID-19 death toll in South Africa has risen by 135 to a total of 4804. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is at 337,594.


Meanwhile, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has announced that COVID-19 isolation days have been reduced to 10 days.

However, patients with severe cases, who have been treated with oxygen, must continue to isolate for another 10 days, after their treatment ends.
