Since her passing tributes have been pouring in for the actress across social media. Our thoughts have been with her family and son, Somizi Mhlongo.
Today, we were excited to learn that Mam Mary Twala will feature in Beyonce’s star-studded film – Black Is King. Her son, Somizi recently shared the film’s trailer featuring Mary Twala. She was wearing beautiful traditional attire, raising her hands to the sky.
Mary Twala is one of the greatest South African television stars of all time. Her resume speaks for itself. She’s starred in Generations, Scandal!, Muvhango, Yizo Yizo, Skwizas, Zone 14, Inkaba but to mention a few shows.

Black Is King is a forthcoming and visual album directed, written and produced by Beyonce’.bIt serves as a visual companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.
Black Is King will be released globally tomorrow on Disney + and will also air on Mnet.
