Somizi ordered to pay Mohale Motaung’s legal fee after withdrawing divorce case

Somizi Mhlongo withdraws divorce case from court and has been ordered to pay Mohale Motaung’s legal fee. Since the two announced their divorce, they’ve been in and out of court due to various accusations, including the divorce process. The Idols SA judge withdrew the case against Mohale as the lawyer reveals that their marriage was non-existent.

The two tied the knot in 2019, but the law doesn’t recognise their marriage. Kindly take notes that the plaintiff withdraws the actions instituted against the defendant and tenders the defendant’s taxed and/ or agreed party and party costs,” read the court document. Mohale’s legal representative, Mabu Marweshe spoke about the divorce case and other accusations against his client.

“This is the end of the road in terms of the divorce as it’s considered they were never married. We are aware of actions that can be taken which include the alleged assaults, and we are also considering whether there is a possible case of defamation in respect of the allegations that were publicly made that our client is the one who issued the summons and wanted half of Somizi’s assets, which painted him as a gold digger.”

The two are trending on Twitter following the news from the court.

While many congratulate Mohale, others gave their perception of the saga between the two celebs.
