Skomota’s R20 000 outfit causes a stir – VIDEO

Popular South African entertainer, Skomota has undoubtedly been living a life of glitz and glamour since his thrust into the limelight. The viral sensation had his shot to fame in 2023 when he won R3 million from betting.

In the backdrop of his big win, he furnished his craze for entertainment and has fast become that celebrity host we love to hate. His signature dance move has since become a global trend, with several A-listers trying it.

However, Skomota is trending after his outfit left Mzansi in awe. In a now-viral video, it is alleged that Skomota’s trending outfit was worth over R20 000. Skomota wore designer clothes that cost a fortune, from a Lacoste shirt to an R10 000 belt.

He was wearing Karl Lagerfeld sneakers, which cost R2 579, and original slim-fit Bronny jeans, which cost at least R4 950, in several online stores. Like those before him, Skomota had an Original L.12 petit piqué cotton Lacoste polo shirt, which cost R2 495.

However, he complimented his outfit with a R10 000 designer belt. The belt has often hogged headlines in recent months. His designer clothes had a price tag of R20 024.

The TikTok video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. Fans were quick to flood social media with their two cents.

The now-viral video has since thrust Skomota into the top trends, with many trying to figure out his income streams. Rumour mill has it that he costs R90 000 to book.

In 2023, reports revealed that the South African viral sensation makes R545 000 monthly. Thanks to his newfound fame, he has been cashing in from gigs. Skomota has also been making club appearances and doubling as an MC.

Skomota has performed and rubbed shoulders with several celebrities, including Makhadzi and DJ Tira.
