A Primary school teacher was shot dead on Tuesday, 31 May in the North West. The incident reportedly happened at Rutanang Primary School in Geelhoutpark.
It’s alleged that teacher was shot four times by two men while still in her car next to the school gate.
North West Police Spokesman Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone confirmed the incident, saying:
“The police are still processing a crime scene where a teacher was shot and killed by two unknown men.
“The incident happened at about 7 am while the woman was in her car next to the school gate,” Mokgwabone said.
“The suspects allegedly walked on foot after the scene, and the woman was declared dead by the paramedics,” said Mokgwabone.
North West Education Department spokesman Elias Malindi confirmed the incident.
