The controversial Mpisane family will soon be coming to Mzansi’s TV screens.
Shauwn, who uses her maiden name Mkhize, is set to feature with and her kids, Andile and Sbahle Mpisane, in a new Mzansi Magic reality show.
The show will follow the Durban-based businesswoman, whose divorce from her husband Sbu Mpisane made headlines earlier this year.
Shooting started three months ago and will go into Shauwn’s relationship with her music producer son and daughter Sbahle, known as the Fitness Bunnie.
When the SunTeam called Shauwn, she confirmed she was shooting a reality show and said it was called Durban Royalty.
“People will see the growth of Andile as a businessman and Good Samaritan and his music career.
“They will also see the recovery of my daughter,” she said.
Shauwn said family means everything to her and the show will have real moments.
When called for comment, Legend Manqele, the man behind reality shows such as Dineo’s Diary, Living the Dream With Somizi and Being Bonang, confirmed he was shooting with the Mpisanes.
According to him, the programme shows Shauwn conquering herself.
“I believe that she has gone through a lot and she is ready to reveal her true self.
“People will see more of the mother and son relationship and the healing of Sbahle. I enjoy working with Shauwn. She is an amazing woman and great businesswoman,” he said.
