Shauwn Mpisane makes a small change in the upcoming Show
The frenzy around reality television shows has seen a barrage of our local stars riding the wave of sharing parts of their lives for all to see on TV. However, celebrities are not the only bunch that have also preferred television as a platform to tell their stories. For example, many didn’t know of the Mseleku family in Port Shepstone, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Uthando Nes’thembu is a reality show on Mzansi Magic, where the audience is often taken on an interesting ride into the intricate and educational lives of the polygamous family – The Mselekus.
The popularity and viability of reality television shows has spiralled into personalities that would not exactly be classified as “celebrities”. If the content is an audience puller, then the show is most likely to gain traction on social media.
An individual that is coining it via reality television is none other than, Shauwn Mkhize (formerly Mpisane). For those who don’t know who this beautiful lady is, she is the mother to Mzansi’s popular fitness trainer, Sbahle Mpisane, who’s currently in a wheelchair due to her horrific car accident.
According to Ilanga Langesonto, the title of the show was initially, Kwa Mpisane but due to her divorce to Sbu Mpisane, the title will be Kwa MaMkhize – which is Shauwn’s maiden name.
