Residents in parts of Sebokeng near Vanderbijlpark are demanding reliable water. They say especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the government should be taking better care of them.
In some parts of the township, residents say water comes on at night, but during the day taps are dry.
Residents get rubbish to make a fire to cook while others use long-drop toilets or relieve themselves in the bush.
The Emfuleni Municipality says it will deliver water tanks to the area by Wednesday.
