The Nugent Commission into the South African Revenue Service (Sars) is set to resume public hearings on Tuesday.
The question remains if former Sars boss Tom Moyane should challenge President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision not to halt either the disciplinary inquiry against him as an individual or the commission of inquiry into governance and administration at Sars.
Legal expert Marius du Toit recapped the events that have occurred so far and distinguished between the parallel legal processes being carried out at present.
