Gauteng: At 12H05 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Monte Casino Boulevard and William Nicol Drive in Fourways Sandton.
Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and truck were involved in a collision knocking down pedestrians in the process.
Medics assessed the scene and found that four people had sustained moderate to serious injuries.
Due to the nature of one of the patients’ injuries a medical helicopter was activated to airlift the seriously injured patient to a specialised facility.
All necessary authorities were on the scene.
