Duties & Responsibilities
ANCO seeks a dynamic and ambitious Sales Representative to do business development and drive commercial sales. You will also have an understanding of electrical and power solution products and must possess strong business acumen and a background in the B2B sales sector.
This is a sales-focused position and we are therefore looking for an individual with a Hunter/Closer sales profile who can demonstrate their sales success in previous sales roles. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule. Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on potential customers. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans and call reports.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, product and services offered etc. Sourcing of tenders and projects in the relevant industry. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Recommends changes in service and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments. All administration around the sales function, including preparation of tender documentation, quotations, follow ups and lead administration
Ensuring customers receive the relevant documentation, payments and collections to be actioned and followed up
Core function is the sales of Generators, UPS’s, Solar Power Systems, Camera Systems (Security), Batteries, Inverters, Electrical panels and Switchgear. Recommends equipment to meet customer requirements, considering saleable features, such as flexibility, cost, capacity, and economy of operation. Negotiates terms of sale and services with customer.
