Entertainment Up Market Restaurant – Pretoria

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Kitchen Manager in a fast paced, up market Restaurant- at least 100 covers
Relevant qualification in F&B or Culinary arts (chef experience) will be a great advantage
Excellent attitude- Friendly, Organised and Enthusiastic.
Liaise with chefs and FOH daily for any requests or feedback
Good Experience in food & beverage management and stock control
Ordering and purchasing of food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed
Good financial acumen- keeping control of wastage and variances, making sure budgets are adhered to.
Daily maintenance and cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, any general maintenance experience is beneficial
Organizing preventative maintenance or replacements as needed- making sure all equipment is in tip top shape.
Coordinating and Supervising restaurant kitchen staff to food and safety standards
Training and scheduling of staff- identifying problem areas and addressing them through training
Supervise food prep and cooking- help running the pass if need be.
Super hands on and motivated- ready to jump in and help anywhere as needed
Own transport and license preferable
SA Citizens living in Pretoria will be preferred
