SABC still in the spotlight at #Statecaptureinquiry

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into allegations of state capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State continues on Friday. The Commission will hear SABC related testimony from Acting Chief Executive Officer of the South African Bureau of Standard (SABS), Garth Strachan.

On Thursday, the Zondo Commission heard the testimony from Broadcasting Digital Migration expert Lawrence Roy Kruger.

Former SABC COO, Hlaudi Motsoeneng also finalised his testimony. Motsoeneng spent bemoaning what he considers biased and negative reporting flowing from his testimony.

Motsoeneng’s legal representative appealed for a directive from Inquiry Chairperson, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo. Zondo suggested Motsoeneng put out a media statement to correct what he believes are falsehoods.
