We are looking for a TECHNICALLY SKILLED AND DEDICATED candidate to fill the position of IT Technician at our office in Johannesburg.
Applicants must meet the following MINIMUM requirements:
South African Citizen
No Criminal Record
Matric Exemption
Driver’s License
Applicants must have the following MINIMUM qualifications and/or experience:
BSc (Information Technology) with 3+ Years’ experience in a similar field
OR
Information Technology Diploma / MCSE / MCIPT / ITIL with 3+ Years’ experience in a similar field
Requirements:
Extraordinary customer service and advanced communication skills;
Ability to be flexible, team player and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment are a must;
Be able to work independently;
Must demonstrate the ability to think quickly and make smart decisions under pressure;
Must possess a solid understanding of PC hardware/peripheral devices, Active Roles and Active * Directory, standard operating systems (Win 8/Win 10) and Microsoft Office Applications.
Remuneration: R10,000.00 Per Month
The IT Technician will provide prompt and accurate technical support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This will include performing desk-side Windows workstation support in different office environments as well as supporting or performing MS Office, Outlook configuration and troubleshooting; software installation and configuration; new user set up; printer and network file share configuration and troubleshooting; peripheral installation, configuration, and troubleshooting; and computer/user moves, adds, and changes.
Technicians will also be responsible for reviewing service desk tickets, documenting support and diagnostic activities, escalating problems as required, and accurately and effectively resolving and closing assigned tickets in accordance with SLA requirements and/or Ad-Hoc support.
