Singer Ruth Matete promised herself she’ll move on from hubby’s death as quickly as possible.
It’s proving harder than she thought.
The singer took to social media to share her grief saying that it has been very tough being pregnant and still grieving her husband, the late pastor Beloved John Apewajoye.
Matete earlier this month had promised that she will stop mourning her hubby and focus on living a present life. In her recent post, however, she confessed she’s still swimming in grieve.

“Truth is some days are very hard,” said Matete who is heavily pregnant.
“When death knocks at your door, there’s nothing you can do. Some days, voices in my head tell me am taking too long in this mourning phase. But I have made up my mind not to be hard on myself.”
Matete added that she’s now leaving the matter to God and believes will heal her.
“I patiently wait for the day God will heal me totally. But the again, some days I doubt if this kind of pain can totally heal,” she said.
“So I ask God to give me a new heart instead. Till then, I’ll smile when God gives me a chance to. I will laugh when God allows me to. But above all, I will keep serving Him.”
