Royals wishes flood in as Meghan Markle turns 39

The Duchess of Sussex celebrates her 39th birthday as royal wishes flood in.

Members of the royal family paid tribute to Meghan Markle as she rang in her birthday.

Messages wishing the duchess were sent from the official social media accounts of the Queen, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles, The Evening Standard reports.

Her Majesty’s wish was sent out on the official Royal Family Twitter account and featured a touching picture of Meghan and the queen from their first joint public appearance in 2018.

Kate Middleton and Prince William also joined in the well-wishing, with Kensington Palace sharing a snap of Meghan smiling at a child.

“Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex today,” the post read.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla’s account, Clarence House, also chipped in to wish the duchess.

“Happy Birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!,” the post read.

As messages flood in from royals and fans alike, Meghan and Harry are expected to celebrate in private with their son Archie and Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, the NZ Herald reports.

The couple is currently living in Los Angeles and will most likely have a low-key birthday to mark the final year of her 30s.

Harry and Meghan moved to the United States just a few weeks before the coronavirus pandemic hit and have lived under lockdown since then.
