A warrant of arrest has been issued for a third person in the Alph Lukau resurrection video case.

This was revealed by the NPA at the Joburg Magistrates Court yesterday when the two other suspects appeared to apply for bail, which was denied.

Prosecutor Mzamo Mathe said the state needed to verify information for Nkululeko Dlamini, who had two identification documents.

“He has a passport from Zimbabwe and a South African ID,” he said.

The two documents had different details. The case was postponed to next Friday. Dlamini and the other accused, Grace Sibanda, who is also from Zimbabwe, will be kept in jail.

NPA spokeswoman Phindi Mjonondwane would only say the two were accused of fraud and wouldn’t give the name of the person the third warrant had been issued for.

The arrests came after a video of Lukau, the leader of Alleluia Ministries International, claiming to raise a man from the dead went viral.
