An upmarket, popular Restaurant/Bar venue is looking for experienced Restaurant/Bar Managers for their venues in Three Rivers and Vereeniging area
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Opening and closing of the restaurant
General day to day running of the Restaurant and Bar
Cash management, including cashing up, banking, floats, petty cash, change
Ordering, receiving, and control of food and beverage items
Efficient and accurate control of stock and related stock counts
Invoicing, payments, and administration related to the business
Employing and training of staff
Coaching and disciplining of staff
Generating and control of staff shifts
Handling of clients, complaints and making the regulars feel part of the establishment
Assist with marketing and promoting of specials
Required Skills:
Junior and middle management positions: 2 years experience
Senior Restaurant Manager: 4 to 5 years of experience
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12
Must have a minimum of 4-5 years Management experience in a Restaurant/Bar environment
Good POS experience and knowledge (Micros, GAAP, Pilot or similar)
MS Office experience
Young, dynamic and energetic, and able to work long hours
Own reliable transport is essential
Ability to manage all aspects of running a Restaurant/Bar environment
