Relebogile Mabotja slaps rude Metro FM listeners

Relebogile Mabotja‘s reputation with Metro FM listeners appears to be sinking with every passing week. The presenter has already had to try and appease the tension after disgruntled listeners demanded that their beloved DJ Fresh return (#BringBackDJFresh even resurfaced this week) and now she’s had to deal with listeners who are unhappy with her on-air conduct.

While she hasn’t sworn at anyone or accused any listeners of talking out of their a**es, the multi-talented presenter was accused of not giving her callers a fair opportunity after cutting them off in what was deemed to be an unfair manner.

It seems like Relebogile can’t do anything right in the eyes (and ears) of the #FreshBreakfast listeners and one angry fan took her to task when she accused DJ Fresh’s replacement of being unfair to callers who she didn’t agree with. Part of the fan’s tweet read: “That was very rude how u cut off that caller simply coz u personally dd nt agree with hm”.

Relebogile has had a lot to deal with in the past few weeks and this latest accusation, sent in her direction on Thursday, felt like the straw that broke the camel’s back because the presenter hit back in fiery fashion when she saw the critical tweet in her mentions.

The tweep in question called out Relebogile by saying:

Relebogile was not having any of this and she responded with a sarcastic reply of her own:

Ouch!

This is not the only bit of shade that the former 702 presenter has had to deal with. She has also had to watch fans who want to #BringBackDJFresh slate her on a daily basis despite the fact that she had no say over the current situation.

The criticism did strike a nerve earlier this week when she hit back at a Twitter account that threw shade at her when she said:

“What a pity a whole business account. Are these the local businesses we want to support? Are these the same people inboxing us for referrals and work? Do you think this is what Fresh stands for? Instead of using this time to actually get more business you are sourcing pics for this!”

Do you think there’s a happy ending in sight for Relebogile and listeners of The Fresh Breakfast?
