The extents preachers are making congregants go are now disrespectful. There is no one moment in the Bible that Jesus made people lick his fingers to be forgiven or blessed. A video of a pastor who tells his congregants to lick his fingers after he eats is making rounds on social media.
People are now asking if it is the preacher’s fault or the congregants themselves have major problems. People were warned in the Bible to be wary of fake prophets. Now if one man tells another man to lick his fingers after eating then this goes beyond disrespect. Religion has proved to be a tool used by many to gain power or riches.
In South Africa, we have read many stories concerning these prophets but people never learn. Some months back another prophet told his congregants that he had to sit on their faces and fart on them so that they receive blessings. All this should be a sign that we are being fooled.
Fortunately, we all have the Bible to refer to, and if we cannot do that and wait to be used it becomes a problem. Some blame poverty that t is the reason why people turn to desperate measures and end up allowing the prophet to sit on their faces. Another self-proclaimed prophet told members of his church that he was fighting the devil with his hammer and he had won.

All these stories are happening and the unfortunate part is learned people are being fooled by scammers so that they have money. The rate at which churches are opening is also a sign that something is going on. If there is one God and one Jesus then why are there many churches opposing each other but fighting for congregants?
These might be the end of times and people need to be careful. Other countries have noticed this trend and have decided to put an end to such cases.
