Reason on Flex: I don’t talk to dead people

Beef is quite common in the world of hip hop. Therefore, when some of us woke up to a twar between VUZU’s The Hustle season 2 winner, Flex Rabanyan and lyrical genius, Reason, we were not surprised.

Some celebrities prefer to withhold any sort of response when provoked on social media platforms as they are more concerned about protecting their brands. A celeb that is following the above notion is rapper, Reason. After being dragged by fellow rapper, Flex, about his supposedly mediocre music career and relationship with girlfriend, Luthando “Lootlove” Shosha, many of us thought he had decided lie low.

However, after the release of FWR (For Whatever Reason), Reason wrote on Twitter: “This kid buried himself a long time ago. So there is no reply. Cause I don’t talk to dead people, but for the sheer disrespect shown towards me and my family, as a man, there is no letting this one slide. I apologise in advance.”

But if you’re expecting a diss track from the Azania rapper, you’re in for a long wait. On Monday morning, Reason explained that he will not be wasting his energy on Flex, and that would respond in person.
