Raw Material Storeman Required – Apply Now

Our client within the FMCG Manufacturing environment is in search of an experienced raw material Storeman for the Queenstown area.

Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent: Valid Code 10 driver Licence: Valid Forklift Licence
Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management (advantageous). 2 – 3 year’s stores or warehouse experience – FMCG environment preferred. Working knowledge of FIFO and warehousing principles. Arithmetic skills with the ability to use a simple calculator. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Organised and good time management skills

Document Control, Computer literate (word, excel, etc). Ability to work under pressure
Strong analytical and planning skills. Must be able to start immediately. Key Performance Areas: Experienced in the ordering of raw materials and the execution of product dispatching. Material receiving and stock control / Stock counts
Ensure that the warehouse contributes its part in achieving customer delivery excellence
Able to build a relationship with suppliers.
