At 02H25 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Aureole Avenue and Witkoppen Road in North Riding Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a car and bakkie were involved in a collision.
One person, an adult male from the bakkie sustained minor injuries.
He was treated on the scene by medics and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
The occupants of the car escaped injury.
