President Cyril Ramaphosa has sent his condolences to the people of Sri Lanka.
This as the death toll in a series of church and hotel bombings has risen to at least 290.
More than 500 people were injured in the blasts.
Many of the victims were attending Easter mass services.
It’s reported that seven people were arrested and three police officers were killed during a raid on a house in Colombo.
The country’s President, Maithripala Sirisena, has condemned the violence calling for strong action against those responsible.
Schools will remain closed until Wednesday.
