Julius Malema says Ramaphosa is the enemy of the people

The so-called Government of National Unity (GNU) is the enemy of the people, EFF leader Julius Malema has said.

Malema said this over the weekend while addressing scores of EFF party members who attended the party’s 11th anniversary at the AR Abass Sports Grounds in Kimberley, Northern Cape.

The EFF leader condemned the ANC for forming a government with the former “oppressor”, saying the EFF will never work with “white supremacists who murdered black people and anti-apartheid activist Chris Hani”.

“Comrades, we are going to fight the GNU. GNU is the enemy of our people. Ramaphosa is the enemy of our people. The ANC sold out the people of South Africa, that is why this GNU must fall. We must fight it everywhere we go. We must tell them we reject GNU, the ANC and the DA. We are not part of GNU, we will never be part of GNU that has the DA and Freedom Plus. We will not sit at the dinner table with the people who killed Chris Hani during apartheid. The DA is the National Party,” said Malema.

Malema hailed the EFF, claiming they dismembered the Moonshot Pact of the DA, IFP, VF Plus and ActionSA. Instead, the DA ditched the pact and opted to form a coalition with the ANC.

He further blamed the media for failing to report fairly about the Moonshot Pact’s demise.

“We have made sure the Moonshot Pact fails. All of those political parties combined, in the pact, they got 29%. That is why the DA did a U-turn and dumped the Moonshot Pact, and went to the ANC because the Moonshot Pact failed. The media does not report that actually, the failure and loser is the Moonshot Pact because it got millions and millions of money, yet they got 29%,” said Malema.

The Red Berets leader also took a swipe at the ANC and President Cyril Ramaphosa, accusing him of selling out the majority of South Africans by opting to get into GNU with the DA.

Malema said the inference that could be drawn from Ramaphosa’s “ANC” was that the party was anti-black unity and progress.

“Ramaphosa is the enemy of our people. Why is the ANC not opting for progressive organizations with 70% and fight against this 29% of the Moonshot? Because the Moonshot is a fight against black people. Let black people unite,” he emphasized.

The EFF will be in full support of the MK Party in Parliament since it is the official opposition party, said Malema. He further praised members of the MK Party for being humble, and as the EFF, they are currently showing them the ropes in the National Assembly as rookies.

“Today, MK is the official opposition party and as the EFF, we support it. We share our experience in Parliament with the MK so that it can be an effective official opposition. Since the MK arrived in Parliament, we welcomed them and introduced them to how Parliament works. The good thing is, the MK comrades are prepared to learn. You don’t have arrogant leaders in MK, but humble servants of our people that work well with the EFF,” said Malema.
