Candidate Requirements:
Matric.
3 year technical qualification in facilities management or built environment.
10 years’ experience of which 3 years should be at management level.
Experience with Facilities Management Strategy and policy design and implementation.
Development and implementation of Facilities Management Operating models.
Experience in Facilities Management Process design and implementation (SOP’s) within the hard services (maintenance management) and soft services (Cleaning, Grounds, Registry) space.
Good experience on Facilities, conditional assessments and risks.
Very good knowledge of Asset Life-Cycle processes, costs and budgets.
Experience in the development and implementation of Service Contracts with external SP’s and associated risks.
Knowledge of the use of technology in the Financial Management space.
Knowledge of Building Management Systems (eg. Archibus).
Knowledge of space planning and space utilisation.
Knowledge sustainable initiatives within the FM space and the planning and implementation thereof.
Knowledge of property and asset management.
