Hip-hop artist Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize will be laid to rest at the Heroe’s Acre in Johannesburg’s Westpark Cemetery on Sunday.
The 37-year-old died last week after suffering a severe seizure due to pancreatic bleeding, according to a statement released by the rapper’s family.
Hundreds of messages have since been shared on social media by peers and fans.
They’ve described him as an extraordinary rap artist who used his music to document South Africa’s township culture.
On Thursday, the musician’s friends joined family members in celebrating the artist’s life at a memorial service held in Newtown, Johannesburg.
